Who I Work With
I offer online therapy for adults navigating anxiety, chronic overthinking, and neurodivergence — including those who are self-identifying, newly diagnosed, or exploring an ADHD diagnosis for the first time.
Problems I Can Help With

Anxiety Therapy for Adults
If your mind runs through worst-case scenarios on a loop, or you feel like you’re always bracing for something to go wrong, you’re not alone… and you don’t have to white-knuckle your way through it. I help clients build practical tools to quiet anxiety without dismissing what it’s trying to protect them from.

Support for Chronic Overthinking
Overanalyzing every text, decision, or conversation is exhausting, and it’s rarely something willpower alone can fix. Together, we’ll look at what’s driving the loop and build strategies that actually interrupt it.

Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy
Whether you’re autistic, have ADHD, or simply feel like your brain doesn’t work the way the world expects it to, therapy here starts from acceptance, not “fixing.” I bring a neurodivergent-affirming lens to every session… no pathologizing, no masking required.
How I Work With Clients
Therapy here is collaborative, practical, and rooted in acceptance — not a one-size-fits-all script.
My work is grounded primarily in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — helping you build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings, so you can act on what matters to you even when anxiety or a racing mind is present, rather than waiting for it to quiet down first. I also draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when it’s useful for identifying specific thought patterns and building concrete tools to interrupt them.
For neurodivergent clients, this looks like adapting both approaches around how your brain actually works, not trying to force it into a neurotypical mold. The goal isn’t to eliminate the way you think — it’s to help you work with it, reduce the parts that are genuinely causing suffering, and build a life that fits you.
Sessions are collaborative: you’re the expert on your own experience, and I bring the clinical tools and outside perspective.
Hi, I’m Brian
Brian Stump, MSW, LISW
I focus on anxiety, overthinking, and neurodivergent-affirming care because I believe these experiences deserve therapy that actually gets it — not generic advice, and not an approach that treats a busy mind as something to be fixed.
My work is grounded in ACT and CBT, but just as importantly, it’s grounded in respect: for how your mind works, for the pace that’s right for you, and for the fact that you’re the expert on your own experience. I’m here to bring clinical tools and an outside perspective — you bring the rest.

Getting Started Is Simple
1. Book a Free Consultation
We’ll set up a brief call to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, answer any questions, and see if we’re a good fit — no pressure, no commitment.
2. Schedule Your First Session
If it feels right, we’ll book your first full session. This is where we start building a shared picture of what’s going on and what you want out of therapy.
3. Ongoing Sessions, at Your Pace
From there, we’ll meet regularly (typically weekly or biweekly) to work through what matters to you — using practical, ACT- and CBT-informed tools, always adjusted to fit how your mind works.
Ready to start?
